When a scholar dies, what happens with books?
(A library is but personal quirk.)
Usually, the books are given away.
In the scholar’s heaven, all books are there,
even all the lost books ever written.
Finally, the scholar can get to work!
All books are temporary monuments
to hope, humor, history, love, and wit.
Books resemble budding flowers of Spring!
All life is but a lending library,
books being temporary graffiti.
Scholars are like fireflies in the night.
Sometimes a poet is read years later.
We read their lines with excited wonder!
