Just who are we? We are singing stardust!
The chances of life evolving remain
staggering—about six trillion to one
and that may be too low a statistic!

Living is a miracle of delight
which we (sadly) often take for granted.
*
Numerous birds have sung before humans
who began singing in imitation
three hundred thousand years ago
which led to our language development
that jettisoned us to the Space Age
where telescopes “see” a smidgeon of stars.
*
We now know Earth is a peculiar place.
Let’s live our lives in peace and wonder….
