Some days part of my brain doesn’t function;
it’s hard to figure out the problem.
Meditation often solves the problem;
then renewed, my brain operates quite well—
the knotty quandary evaporates
like a cumulous cloud floating above,
hardly noticed at all amid blue sky….
Consciousness is a complex labyrinth
where sequential turns are not obvious,
yet one somehow manages an exit
to walk in broad fields flowering with thyme,
or a path through rocky, wooded terrain.
The world can be a dizzy, spinning place.
Just concentrate and arrive at first base!
