The Big C

by Kevin T McEneaney

The lives of artists endure much clutter:

painters with racks of completed canvas;

poets with file cabinets of drafts;

musicians, tattered open scores on chairs;

sculptors with shed and garages galore.

Doctors burdened with clients and records.

We are all drowning in too much info.

Mailboxes daily flooded with junk mail!

Dumps filling up with plastic debris!

Just as it appears there is no answer

to the origin of the universe—

or the creation of our universe—

there are few options to resolve clutter…
