Creation: process of variation

among life forms on this goodly planet

where chemicals continually change

and biological organisms

swerve and adapt to the environment.

The universe flows in a state of flux

with supernovas exploding in bright bursts,

fiery stars collapsing in darkness.

Even as I write these words, I’m changing

my mind as I jot down observations

about what my situation might be—

sometimes words are like singing word-chimes,

yet at times my mind fails in entropy.

On some days I feel like a new person.
