A single eukaryote began the world
by eating bacteria, divided,
started the process of evolution.

How that happened we do not know at all,
but that is how the Tree of Life burgeoned
and how the Tree of Life began to grow—
creating more cells, more complex beings,
until landing at the current crossroads:
we are not sure how some want to proceed
much further with human development.

The next step in human evolution
will be to have AI chips implanted,
creating an elite class of cyborgs.
I’m not sure this is the right solution….
