When you raise a glass of wine to toast with friend,
that wine would not exist, except that wasps
provide the brewing yeast for all the grapes
while they determine much of the taste.
Various wasps offer different results
from the interior of their bellies.
Not all vintners are up-to-date on this,
nor do they control behavior of wasps
any more than they control the weather.
One needs good luck in the wine business
since weather nor wasps may be on schedule,
which is why wineries have good-bad years.
The discovery of excellent wine
may offer an unrepeatable toast!
