How can this be?

by Kevin T McEneaney

How can a point with no volume at all

contain the volume of infinite space?

One second after the immense Big Bang

the journey to infinity began….

*

Was the Big Bang a singular event,

or have there been Big Bangs elsewhere, before

or after, in a distant universe?

*

How could the light from the Big Bang travel

through a space that didn’t exist before?

And we still can’t explain gravity….

*

The cosmic horizon grows at constant rate,

while the fabric of space accelerates,

pushing galaxies beyond the horizon….

*

Meanwhile, we see stars die from entropy….
