Inscape, upscape, downscape, universalscape,
living cosmic lens to glorious creation
where we are encased uniquely,
the sun and planetary system surrounded
by a ring of fire at 10,000 degrees Celsius,
which protects us from alien invaders
while reminding us of limitations
to the garden we are to till and manage
with what little resources we possess
amid the mortal years of our span
in the extraordinary experiment called
evolution amid the fragile mortality of life
on this blue-gleaming planet spinning
where love should flourish like a fountain
with a mantle crust that accounts for
eighty-two percent of the Earth’s volume….
