Why are lilacs blooming in August?
They did not bloom as they should have in Spring…

Such little surprises in the landscape
prove that anomalies can be our friends
who cheer us up with sudden surprises,
unexpected wonder, and sly delight!

Anomalies are pleasant mysteries
that are intriguing and fascinating.

who scribbles unexpected metaphors
when the weather inspires me to write.
