If you hear static on the radio,
you are hearing the Big Bang afterglow,
which resonates throughout the universe.
*
We are still attempting to understand
the actual size of the universe,
as well as how it came to happen,
just as our own inconceivable birth
remains a mystery to our bodies
immersed in our quotidian bracket
of autobiographical musings.
*
We prefer to think we move toward light—
metaphor for the lyric of our life.
*
Phones ride the microwaves of creation
as our voices resound with brevity.
