A good rain is a delightful pleasure
that permits a hiatus in schedule,
time to ponder the verities of life,
analyze reflection, panorama,
of what is happening to you or friends,
or perhaps discover a new idea
on how to organize comic future
and be as responsible as a bee
working industriously for the hive,
or newly arrived chickadee joining
a flock for the long winter’s duration.

introduction to introspection
on your peculiar seat in life’s drama…
